Training to Prevent Childhood Diseases:

MEDRIX is sponsoring 45 doctors, nurses, and midwives to be trained in Integrated Management of Childhood Illnesses (IMCI) during the months of June and July.  IMCI is an internationally recognized program designed by the World Health Organization (WHO).  This program is used to train healthcare workers in the prevention of childhood diseases that often take the lives of children ages 1 to 5.

MEDRIX donors have already sponsored 30 healthcare workers to be trained in IMCI in Hue, Vietnam since 2007. 

Water Treatment System Patent Pending:

MEDRIX is applying for a patent in Vietnam for some of the unique features we have designed in our UV water treatment system.  More information on the patent coming soon.
