of the approximately half ton of medical supplies that the team
will transport to Vietnam this trip.  In the background of picture
are the racks of new, donated medical supplies waiting to be
sorted, inventoried and shipped to Vietnam by container ship in
August, 2003.  MEDRIX still needs $2,000 to pay for the cost of
shipping the container; donations for shipping costs are
tax deductible.

Preparing MEDRIX  team members to live and work in a different
culture is very important.  These team members are practicing
working together under difficult and challenging circumstances.

training is provided in such areas as: cultural differences,
keeping yourself healthy, what to pack, appropriate dress, etc.
