Education and International Exchange
MEDRIX
makes multiple trips every year to work with local partners
in providing medical and English education to people in Southeast Asia. MEDRIX provides medical and nursing education and
consultation services to physicians, nurses, and paramedical
personnel.
Training is typically provided to MEDRIX's partnering nurses
and doctors in specialty areas of medical care such as psychiatry,
nephrology, neonatology, community health services, English
medical terminology, pediatrics, and infectious disease control.
In 2001, MEDRIX initiated an International Medical and Cultural
Exchange Program. MEDRIX's first recipient from Vietnam traveled
to Seattle for specialized medical training and cultural exchange.
MEDRIX continues to be involved in the International Medical
and Cultural Exchange Program.
